... As usual, Joe is right. The amp in this room was the Behold It is no coincidence that Behold amps were used in five different systems in five different rooms.
It is also no coincidence that all of those rooms had very impressive sound. Part of the silicon I mentioned is present because Behold amps have their own
"circuit cleaning" technology. We are seeing this more and more as amp makers learn the dirty juice is very detrimental to their sound. Behold goes as far
to say that no line conditioners are needed with their products. The amps also include their own D/A converters, but they do more than just simple conversion.
They "talk" to the final analog stage and control the full symmetrical transimpedance amplifiers they use instead of difference amplifiers or tubes. Therefore,
they say, there is no analog regulation or protection circuits needed,

keeping the sound clean. They also talk in a very high pitch voice as the conversion takes
place at 786,000 Hz. Bats can't hear that.If they could, they would be very confused, because there are 16 conversations (conversions) going on simultaneously.
Yes. 16 Analog Devices D/As are used for a stereo signal. ... Behold amps are very digital in design, even though the output is pure analog, and yet many would say they do not sound "digital" at all.
Perhaps the digital universe is still one "where no man has gone before" and needs much more exploring - this from a vinyl lover. A very open minded vinyl lover. ...
