Exceptional Features of the PSD192M:

Extraordinary Resolution in Musical Details

To enforce all the samalest details of the recording the PSD192 uses the latest technology. This goal is reached here while nothing is “swallowed” nor “added” which would influence those fine details. This is achieved by using high sophisticated components on one hand and ingenious circuit technique on the other. No coupling capacitors are used nor any other negative concept of circuitry while DSPs perform a “loss free” equalisation. This assembly enables also a “tuneable” equalisation and also the storage of it.

Analog and Digital Outputs and USB-Recording

The PSD192 offers both: analog and digital outputs to feed the follow up amplifier. The analog signal is low impedance delivering standard level of 2.4Vrms. The digital domain can be used in three different ways side by side: the S/PDIF audio signal at sample rates of 48/96/192kHz 2x 24Bit electrical (Cinch 75) and optical (Toslink). Recordings on a hard disk as a storage media can be done via a USB-Interface on a PC at a sample rate of 48kHz at 16Bit Stereo (CD / DAT Quality).

Processor Controlled Motor Supply for Turntables

The use of DSPs in conjunction with digital pulse width modulated inverters enables highest precision supplying 2-phase synchronous motors. Those become crystal stabilized and fine tuneable with a resolution of 0.1%.

Driving Synchronous Motors with 6V to 24V

The use of DSPs in conjunction with digital pulse width modulated inverters enables also to supply motors with different voltages between 6Vrms and 24Vrms. They can be tuned in steps of 0.1Vrms.

Controlling using Buttons and PC-Software

The controlling can be done by the three button on the front panel on one hand and by comfortably the myPSD Software running on a PC on the other.

Very Low Noise Crystal Oscillator

The very Low Noise Crystal Oscillator offers a very low jitter sampling the audio signal and also enables the further processing of digital transmitting very stabile. This is for sure also true for the recovering of the analog audio signal.

Internal Switch Mode Power Supply

The PSD192 uses a switch mode power supply feeding the phono-section and the motor supply. This leads to a very low power consumption and a wide range of mains voltage of 100V to 240V at the same time. An external power conditioner is no longer needed using this concept of circuitry.

Robust Housing

The housing of the PSD192 consists of a robust aluminium plate 2.5mm thick and a 8mm massive aluminium front panel. This underlines the quality of the PSD192 phono pre-amplifier.

CE-Conformity: EN 55013: 2000, EN 61000-3-2: 2000, EN 61000-3-3: 1996, EN 55020: 2000 und EN 61000-6-1: 2001

Despite of applicable law by no means obvious: CE-Conformity! We didn’t spare any efforts to fulfil those targets. And also this is proven by an independent institution.
